Shri Kamal M Morarka the Patron of our
organization, is an eminent industrialist with diverse
interests. He has made his presence felt through a sustained effort towards nature and wildlife conservation and sensitizing people by creating awareness, addressing issues like survival of species and habitats.

Senior Cambridge- Cathedral & John Connon School, 1962, Inter Science – St. Xavier’s College, Bombay, 1966.
Participated in the Electronic Conference convened by late Dr Vikram Sarabhai in March 1970.
Attended the Management Development Programme in 1970 of the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, 1970.
He is a member of the American Management Association since 1969. He also attended the Davos Symposium of the World Economic Forum in 1985, 1986 and 1987.
In June 1997, he attended an Executive Programme – Leaders in Development – Managing Political and Economic Transitions at John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
He has been Member, Board of Studies in Trade, Transport and Industry, University of Bombay.
He heads the Gannon Dunkerley Group engaged in Civil Engineering, Mechanical and General Engineering.
He has been President of All India Manufacturers Organization (1989-90), Vice-President, All India Association of Industries, President, Indian Council of Foreign Trade.
He owns the weekly newspaper “Chauthi Duniya ” which is published in Hindi and Urdu from New Delhi.
Public life :-
He was in the Central Government – Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office in the Chandra Shekhar Government(November ‘ 90 – June ‘91).
He was elected to the Rajya Sabha (Upper House of Parliament) from Rajasthan in 1988.

He is Chairman of Belabai M. Morarka Vidyamandir, Nawalgarh
He is Chairman of the Morarka Arts and Crafts Foundation which is working towards creating an awareness of the rich and varied heritage of Indian arts and crafts.
He has been Vice President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India
He is presently Chairman of the World Trade Centre, Bombay, Member, Board of Management of Bombay Hospital Trust and Medical Research Centre.
